WOMEN'S BUILDING, SAN FRANCISCO

Since 1979, The Women's Building, the first woman-owned and operated community center in the country, has sponsored over 170 emerging organizations, many growing into established non-profits. The program for the renovation and seismic upgrade to the Women's Building included an auditorium, cafe, meeting rooms, childcare center, information and referral area, public meeting spaces, and offices.

The historic nature of the existing building required particular care to ensure preservation of the Mission Revival detailing throughout its transformation.
